What I do
I work with academic institutions that want to strengthen how they develop and retain research talent in an environment where long-term academic careers are no longer the default.

My work focuses on building professional career development infrastructure that research institutions need but lack the internal expertise to create. By designing scalable career pathways, training research leaders to mentor beyond academia, and developing assessment systems that satisfy funder and accreditation requirements, I help universities transform career support from ad-hoc advice into strategic capability—without adding administrative burden to their teams.

In practice, this enables:
-
stronger positioning in funding, accreditation, and evaluation processes,
-
increased attractiveness to prospective doctoral candidates and early-career researchers,
-
reduced risk of disengagement, attrition, or conflict around career expectations,
-
clearer governance over researcher development beyond the academic track,
-
a credible institutional narrative around talent development and career responsibility.

Workshops Delivery & Toolkits

I audit your current career support infrastructure, assess researcher outcomes, and design scalable career pathways that align with funder requirements and institutional goals.
This includes benchmarking against peer institutions and creating governance frameworks for sustainable career development.

I coach and train research directors, department heads, and principal investigators to develop talent beyond traditional academic pathways.
Through facilitated programs and individual coaching sessions, I equip senior researchers with frameworks for career mentoring, succession planning, and building teams prepared for diverse career outcomes.

I deliver targeted workshops for researchers at different career stages and provide ready-to-use toolkits that your team can implement independently.
This includes train-the-trainer sessions to build internal capacity and ensure your career programming is sustainable long-term.
